company. Earlier, he led a double life as an arts thief on his own. But since! m* p; I% w9 i
he met Cathryn, he lets her do the burglaring, and concentrates on the
( Y8 h0 t* {% z4 vplanning instead. If the worst comes to the worst, Bernard knows what to do.

Mike is the man for everything technical. He is a real computerfreak, who can

makes the burglaries a lot easier for his friends. He also does all the ( O) s2 ]4 j4 {$ A
research for Bernard, so he can plan the next heist. In his everyday life,

Moving the mouse slightly above the map, a small arrow will "grow" from the ! a( q& ?' U+ }. t# h
circle, giving you the main menu, where you can load, save, set options, etc.& C" X6 T, W6 Q) e. _* ^5 V0 W
Moving the mouse to the right of the circle, will roll out your inventory.; P. G& {, Y% P  h, `

show some options, what you can do to the item (e.g. cell phones will show

After the introductory movie, we find ourselves in the loft, controlling

Examine the Newspaper. This way Cathryn learns about the origin of her birthday

take the magnifying glass from his desk with you.

In "your" room, get the compass from the desk, and wait until the guys call

Your task is, to match the wheel's frequency with your device. * l7 U. V) p# Y- q% r
You can change the frequency and amplitude of the sine and triangle wave.
) V# y: D( i% @! T8 C, BFirst try to match the frequency of the sine wave, so the wave's highest and * K& X% r' G) e+ I0 F" X' `
lowest points match the wavelength of the upper wave.
0 }; P& p) i& D7 T4 G7 LNow adjust the frequency of the triangle wave so the "jittery" part matches as
5 x0 o- e1 \$ C2 R- I/ Jclosely as possible to the "jittery" part in the middle.
) R9 F: E7 L, C( {& I4 LNow try to match the amplitude, so both waves match.

right. If the time ran out, you can use this button there to solve the puzzle

You're now using Mikes computer, to find out more about the Winston Churchill 6 ^/ @4 K# u8 @$ W* ~

So start the "IceBear" Browser and search for "Winston Churchill". Follow the
% L9 S1 a% i& ffirst link and klick the art database link at the end of the article to find 6 o/ E8 L5 }# w! {2 k3 W+ i! ^
an image of the portrait. The image is automatically transferred to the USB
) q, k* p5 \9 T) hdrive and you need to exit the PC in the lower left. ( A, ~+ z2 ]" Y) a+ }( ?

/ c: G! u0 @8 NLeave the loft and try to use the van. Cathryn decides to go on foot to...

Bellicoe. After the call, check your e-mail again, to get the password for a

% {# F8 d- P: cand also follow the link to the "Rhodes" foundation.
- [% F* J4 t4 k( }$ t+ O' DUse your cellphone again to call the airport. After the call, check your mail ) G0 c. X8 Y$ h+ U9 R$ B$ ^
again to print out your ticket. Get the ticket from the printer and leave the / F& s. b( k8 X% i1 [8 u+ C7 D

Meet Bellicoe and talk to him. Then enter the office. Look around and take the ' c% \. F* _7 t! M2 z8 L
calendar from the desk, and (if you didn't already) look at the painting 3 @. c& }2 _1 [/ K+ y: D' b9 Z; ]
behind the desk. It shows Cecil Rhodes. Now open up the inventory and examine ( a6 G6 p5 v' \' a, j6 e2 \  ~  `. V* Y( I
the calendar a bit closer. You will find clues about "Nancy Jenkins", "Laureen
9 D8 }/ V; M+ c2 _4 B( lMyers" and a company called "ArtTrans".
1 B6 N3 _7 m7 uGo back to your van, and use the internet to find out more about these persons
9 N5 S- ~# S7 M  b3 T& oand the company, especcially phone numbers.   A- j% e! u6 e# h7 O( H2 {
Use your phone to call Nancy, then Laureen and then ArtTrans. You will learn,
# \/ z- a: _# g5 N5 }% I/ {* N( Kthat the company returned the picture of Cecil Rhodes, and Jack will remember
8 @/ r9 A) T# \7 |( bsomething about the "G8" summit, so search for "G8" on the van's internet. $ ?$ L) D6 d( m. @
Go to the front of the van to drive off. # G: N8 o2 P7 u- [/ e3 e
You return to...

next to the door. Get the brochure from the desk, which contains a map of the 0 E; T$ w( k  ^( b* n; m$ U& h" v: A! }
museum.
7 W  i+ \: Y8 S$ u3 B1 \Use the brochure with the two cameras in this room, to map their location. Go
8 a! n' Q. ?8 @8 F/ \# s( oto the back stairs into the cellar and also use the brochure on both cameras
- r4 G8 k6 K' g6 a! G& p0 Z: U1 W(the one in the front and the other one only visible as a red light in the , n6 m" J* p+ `3 T
darkness of the background). ; v# u+ V* E7 F
Return upstairs, and go to the right into the room where Cathryn is with the * s5 t! l# U7 T$ m7 m$ Q
guard. They will leave the room, so you can map the final four cameras in each : c7 {' z) t1 X- C0 V' \) D
corner.
2 ], M! o7 B3 S+ B. }- g" q  OAfter this is done, you change to Mike. You need to help Mike hacking into a
4 J* Z$ z8 f' znetwork. Klick on the Notebook and on the hacking tool on the desktop.% N: B0 `7 c  H/ Y  H; c
You need to find a route, that has a latency of 24 or less. , O+ L) h  {6 a* N7 f, n" X
To do this, follow this path:

0 A# r% T0 ~) Q2 m& u, ~2 Won his laptop and try to find the correct setting, so the beams will flash in 9 |5 B( u7 p9 t/ n0 G
a straight line, instead of diagonally. ; i' A8 S0 i: k& ~
Also the program won't allow "unsafe" combinations. This means, on each side, # e1 I3 w& K/ G5 r) b8 w3 c& o
there has to be at least one letter from A to D at least once!( x5 c3 O1 e+ d9 o5 J/ B

  S# s7 E: Y, c" }* mPatching C to C, D to D and A to B and vice versa should do the trick. You'll
3 L9 N) v5 X- }' W& k& phave to use at least one combination twice. It's up to you, but remember that
( M4 T' s% R9 l8 ron each side, *all* letters from A to D have to be present *at least* once.$ j' _% P$ V" |( t9 L7 {

If you can't figure it out on yourself, wait until the timer in the upper right

If you got it right, the game turns to Bernard, who should walk under the

Cathryn then has to exchange the paintings and flee from the catacombs.

asking for trouble. So go to the right into the village, and on the crossing go

Meanwhile time passed, and it is evening. Go back to the beach, and talk to the
$ ^" s$ ^6 p! i# efisherman in the foreground on the right. On the way back into the viallge, you
; c2 x% F/ {$ F. d+ `are being reminded on the curfew laws on this island, and that you will need a 5 Y- o- B, \3 B7 y( _. Z# I& V
place to sleep. Get back to the beach and talk to the fisherman again. & [" Y" F* K+ ]2 w+ Y& @2 S) j
Before following him to his home, call Mike on the cellphone again.

The next morning, go back to the beach, and the soldier will leave his post for

Next to the guardpost, are some stairs to a guard tower. While the soldier is ' j: n; j; B: I, [' a# f
away, go to the tower, and place the mine into the puddle of petrol on the left

Go back into the village, and you will meet the gentleman from the evening

3.3.02 Surinawa, Eleni's mansion

In the mansion, Eleni offers you to answer your questions. Go around the room,
1 {& x) n2 ~7 e# @and you will eventually find a view with a sofa and a small table in the * O5 w' e0 E3 U
foreground, a spiral stair to the right and a small map in the left background.   `! B" `, ]/ N' H9 h5 o
Notice the small device on the table for later. 2 S, @3 M  F& N; C, y! x
Ask Eleni about the spiral stairs, and the map in the background. Then walk
+ p% x3 Z# `9 g  w8 N3 h. Z( x; Taround the room until you find a curtain to another room. When you try to pull
0 I6 o2 t9 ?( J) W# L1 X4 nit back, Eleni tells you to eat first.
3 V  n) p( z' q' G, d# p! UAfter some eating and a lot of talking, Eleni shows you what is behind this
7 p; y) i7 H- K! Y8 Bcurtain. After Eleni leaves you, try to open the steel door on the right. Since 2 w0 f1 M; V7 s, S- u! t. J
it is locked, go back to the viewpoint with the small device on the table and 1 y- L3 D( V$ q8 o: z# U
take it. It can open the steel door, so go back to the art room and open the
1 p6 m0 R1 e. g" Udoor.
2 ^3 I! J5 g" ]; ~% i* c2 M- n
5 R! b7 y3 ?4 E- wExamine the first door, and you will find Robert and Jack being locked up in 9 [; n7 a* m3 D+ Y, [$ k) z+ s
there. Look at the control board to the right, and open it.
- O' G4 u# _( a2 l; ?) u5 {After some explaining during a cutscene go to the map from earlier, and call
6 U4 y7 i6 g! ~Mike on the cellphone, to guide them through the mine belt.
5 [0 e3 E& A# X) B/ S- xAfter the team arrives at the beach, deposit the handy at the fuel pump with 8 `9 ~# Y2 D! ^! e
the mine and return to the Villa.

Now sit back and enjoy the show.
