5 h; G ?; S7 A# Z1 ^9 }: n3 B

I wrote a little app yesterday that scans all script files in a wintermute project for talk lines and extracts the following data to a CSV table:
: M7 o" H; O2 D- K, p5 \/ e$ r) P! @; {8 e C4 s+ X
1. field => Folder where the scanned script is located
" Y' y& Q. h w) u( r3 ~/ J2. field => Script name (the name of the script where this talk line is from): b( p, w2 d3 Z: H+ g& ^/ M% b
3. field => Line number of the talk line in the script% }4 a7 ^0 U$ Z$ S% f$ R7 Z9 W
4. field => Speaker (name of the in-script object that speaks): ~4 g7 H) D& J5 q
5. field => Reference to STRING.TAB (for example: /SYSENG0503/) if there is one! N8 N: z! w4 N1 L$ P$ a
6. field => The subtitle text (that is shown on screen)
7 h' b' _# G" y: y4 a/ W" X3 ^( i r0 s7. field => Speech audio file (if there is one)
. S6 X! M: H. b1 \, q3 G) }! V0 K* T; I
For me, this is very very handy because you can directly see missing speech files, or get an overview how far I am with my translations in the string.tab file. I'm sure someone else will have a use for it, too.- D) B: ?! \# f
" I5 T# s$ b q) k6 }* W! m% M
Just copy the app to your projects folder (where your *.wpr file is) and run it. It will create a file called TALKLIST.CSV. |
